Colin McGonigle joined Mozaic, LLC in 2017 and serves as the firm's Director of Research. He plays a central role in the firm's investment due diligence and decision-making process. Colin leads the identification and evaluation of prospective investment opportunities, ensuring a thorough due diligence process that includes detailed underwriting, manager selection, preparing investment memorandums, conducting legal reviews, and negotiating terms. While primarily a generalist, Colin dedicates substantial time to the private markets, with a particular focus on venture capital, credit, and real estate.

With a background in investment banking and prior wealth management experience, including a position at UBS, Colin brings a substantial understanding of financial markets and asset classes to the Mozaic team. In addition to his core responsibilities of fundamental research, Colin works with Mozaic's management on macroeconomic analysis and top-down strategic positioning.

Colin earned a degree in Economics from Georgetown University and remains involved with the university community through Georgetown's Alumni Admissions Program. His personal interests include reading, hiking, playing volleyball, and spending time with family and friends.
